I wouldn't have them all banned, the deviantart mods just need to offer an alternative account option for them. But then I've never understood how someone with no interest in being creative would hang out in a place dedicated to creativity.

No, I think you're ginving them too much credit. If they just want to look, no-account browsing just fine. If they like something, right-click CTRL-S. It's less annoy to the people who are actually trying to get a little something out of this place.

I would also count game screenshots, pictures of Gaia avatars and such, random pictures of pets or acquired merchandise, etc as nothing.

I'd also love to see the people who use Poser to just render out a naked woman go. They form a very disappointing portion of the 3D submissions.

But we all know this place has been DeviantMoneyGrabbing for a while now, so they want as big a 'community' as possible.
