Curtiss P-40 Warhawk by MonkeydanceGuy Curtiss P-40 Warhawk by MonkeydanceGuy
FULL VIEW FOR BULLET HOLE AND DECAL DETAILS

Curtiss P-40K made by Curtiss-Wright Corporation which served in WW II as the main ground attack aircraft for the Allied forces. The study in the background with the "shark mouth" decal is of the American volunteer group known as the "Flying Tigers" which served Burma and China.
The Main picture is of the Canadian ace S/L Boomer of the No. 111 squadron at Midway and later Alaska. The decal "Heinkel Biter" puns on "ankle biters" which was a popular nickname for younger pilots.

Ah, I see you've made this slight error before >_>;

Besides, The P-40 was used againt the Japanese before WW2 broke out

The Chinese were being crippled by constant bombings from japan, China asked the americans for help, America sent pilots and P-40s but they were inlisted in the Chineses airforce, they were no longer conidered American pilots, funny...these American pilots did the job, most bombings were called off because of them, the Chinese said that the fought like tigers...so they were given the name "Flying Tigers".

Sorry if I'm spamming...I was on a roll >_>;
