Curtiss P-40K made by Curtiss-Wright Corporation which served in WW II as the main ground attack aircraft for the Allied forces. The study in the background with the "shark mouth" decal is of the American volunteer group known as the "Flying Tigers" which served Burma and China.
The Main picture is of the Canadian ace S/L Boomer of the No. 111 squadron at Midway and later Alaska. The decal "Heinkel Biter" puns on "ankle biters" which was a popular nickname for younger pilots.
