Before The Storm by MonkeydanceGuy Before The Storm by MonkeydanceGuy
Trying very hard (and failing) at not drawing madoka magica, I thought it would be fun to draw more Project Zephyr stuff instead of Mami's mammies (I was wrong, Mami is much more fun). I give you: Another very Evangelion-inspired scene with Rebecca, Meia, Raito, and their mecha units. The scene is the morning after a battle, a storm has just cleared and the ground fog is rising like a ghostly mist around the characters. Another wave of enemies are coming, and the Titans have their weapons drawn and ready while their pilots wait impatiently beside a ravaged monument.
The mechas were originally going to stand in the same formation as their pilots, but I ended up switching Meia's purlple one around with Raito's black one so Meia's uniform wouldn't blend in with the black armor, and that mecha's forearm blade is too awesome to be obscured. Also, Rebecca's Archangel looks awesome with its visor down.
None of them seem particularly happy to be there, I wonder why...

Rebecca is soooo cute, want to give cat-ear hairband and pet *Is shot*

Yepyep. Dynamic lines made with GIMP: 3X3 fuzzy brush, path tool, and a LOT of patience. "Patience" is an user add-on software, but it's not user-friendly AT ALL. PX
