The ABSOLUTE final version of Archangel, this design is driving me up the wall and I am so tired of finding things wrong with it. For those of you who don't remember or are new to my line of mobile suits,
Mark I had the claw built into the enlarged right arm. Mark II had the claw changed to a normal hand with a lance as main weapon. (No pictures of it as the design lasted about a week) Mark III had reduced armor, normal sized arms and poor-looking wings. Finally: Mark IV: The biggest change from III was the way the wings worked. The Mark III wings consisted of 16 small thrusters, 4 concealed under each feather-shaped armor. The problem with that wing design (aside from looking childish and impractical) was that it took up quite a bit of room and really not carrier-friendly. The new wings collapse into a much more discrete shape and the infrastructure allows it to take more damage than Mark III.
Also found out that my modelling program comes with an assortment of reflective metal textures, so I had a bit of fun with that. The end result is a render that actually looks like a polished full-metal model kit; so much so that I made a little glass stand for it.
Very nice. The wings look awesome, though I can't really see how they'd fold together. The lower arms and shoulders look a bit oversized together and with the similar colour scheme on them they feel a bit too solid. The texture looks good, no bumpmap/imperfection and such, but that look befits a mobile suit, I say.
I couldn't find mark I or II in your gallery, but it's a big step up from III. Would love to see it in an actual scene (You have so many mobile suits now, you should make a full scene with multiple, a battle scene, perhaps? Could make a cool desktop image, too.)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.
